This position is responsible for inspection and testing of products we manufacture in accordance with customer supplied drawings, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
Responsibilities:
· Read and interpret drawings/prints and have strong understanding of GD&T
· Must be able to inspect parts visually and measure parts per customer prints using measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, pin gages, CMM (not required), and other metrology equipment typically found in a quality lab.
· Ability to inspect and complete FAIRs as required.
· Ability to determine root cause and provide suggestions to Quality Manager, production, and other team members.
· Understanding of simple mathematics & geometry
· Strong attention to detail
· Great communication skills
