Job Summary:

In this role, the Logistics Operator supports both the Logistics Coordinator and the Warehouse Utility by supporting inbound and outbound shipment coordination/documentation and the order fulfillment processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Logistics Operation:

· Utilizes company 3PL and customer shipping portals for outbound shipments.

· Prepares paperwork for domestic shipments as required, including documentation and labels.

· Works within the ERP system to handle customer orders and other system activities.

· Operates electronic gates and doors allowing drivers to enter facilities.

· Warehouse Support

· Using pick slips/tickets to pick orders and stage/prepare them for shipment including any required documentation.

· Uses RF scanner to locate material in ERP and pick orders for shipment.

· Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material moving equipment (powered and unpowered) in a safe manner.

· Ensures the work area is clean, neat, and orderly.

Works overtime as required.

· Other projects, assignments, and duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

· High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience in shipping or distribution

· Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Minimum 2 years of experience in a similarly situated role

· Knowledge of ERP systems

· Knowledge of distribution and transportation sourcing

· Strong attention to detail

· Strong capability to manage through influence and across functions

· Anticipates risks in scope and can successfully navigate ambiguity

· Strong essential skills including high emotional intelligence

· Strong coordination skills

Travel Requirements:

· Must be able to travel up to 5% of the time. Travel mainly consists of between campuses.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

· Medium – exerting up to 50lb/22kg of force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs/9kg of force frequently, and/or up to 10lbs/4kgs of force constantly to move objects.

· Proven ability to work in-person in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.

· Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with ability to maintain confidentiality and resolve conflicts and ambiguity.

· Penchant for learning in the moment and applying new information and new skills.

· Ability to problem solve

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
