We want to enhance job seekers’ opportunities to advance their careers in the seismic industry and at the same time ensure employers have the opportunity to connect with experienced, qualified personnel.Job DescriptionAs a Field Service Technician, you will have a minimum of 5 – 10 years’ experience in seismic acquisition; preferably 2D, 3D, 4D, Heli-portable, conventional seismic experience. You will use your Electronic Technology diploma or 2 years of post-secondary relevant engineering education to oversee and participate in the installation, interfacing, testing and usage of equipment and programs. You will assist in planning and requisitioning of new, recording equipment, radios and computers. You will work with Observers to verify field instrument tests and make sure equipment is within specified limits, troubleshooting and correcting systems when required.
