You belong at SEH SEH is currently searching for a talented Civil Engineer VI to join our growing practice in Muskegon, Michigan! This position is open to individuals in Muskegon or surrounding areas.
Your options as a civil engineer are endless at SEH. You’ll engineer better communities -- complete streets, safer sidewalks, more sustainable utilities, and trails and parks. Others specialize in large-scale projects, like flood control facilities, dams, landfills, harbors/marinas, structural retaining walls and larger geotechnical projects. Regardless of the project, you’ll have your hands in the mix through all phases of a project: planning, pre-design, design, contract documentation, bidding and construction. - Respond to RFQ’s
- Prepare project approaches, scopes and fees required to complete projects
- Partner with business development staff to present proposals to clients, interview for projects, and select project teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan
- Experience in proposal writing and client management; demonstrated ability to lead development of new business opportunities and win project proposals
- Must reside in Muskegon, Michigan or surrounding areas
- Twelve (12) years of previous experience in the Civil Engineering field managing projects, leading development of new business opportunities, and winning project proposals
- Experience supervising and managing staff
