JOB SUMMARY

As an insurance sales manager, your responsibilities are to identify opportunities for new sales, develop a sales strategy, create sales goals, follow up with agents, recruit and train agents to sell insurance products within your branch.

You will be responsible for setting the overall goals and implementing sales strategies within your area. You also regularly meet with your sales teams and monitor their progress.

The Sales Manager is also responsible for leading, developing, generating sales to new customers, cross-sell and service current policyholders, recruiting of new agents and delivering annual new sales objectives

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet and exceed clients expectations every time.
  • Meet daily, weekly and monthly sales goals.
  • Monitor competition in territory and add new competition when necessary.
  • Validate that all internal reports have accurate pricing & competitive information.
  • Handle general agent questions and complaints, explain company policies & incentives.
  • Ensure all agents needs are met in a timely manner in order maintain positive business relations between agents and company.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Successful and stable work history.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Minimum of 1 year insurance sales.
  • Minimum of 1 year insurance sales management experience.
  • Basic PC skills required.
  • California P&C Licensed.
  • Must be bilingual, Spanish-English.
  • Must be Experienced in the Non-Standard Market.
  • Must be customer service oriented.

EDUCATION

  • High School Degree or equivalent required
  • College Degree preferred
