We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team at our multifamily residential property. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of apartment buildings and grounds. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our residents.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
2. Perform repairs and maintenance tasks in occupied and vacant units, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
3. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property management.
4. Complete work orders efficiently and maintain accurate records of completed tasks
5. Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and seasonal maintenance tasks as needed.
6. Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, and notify management of any shortages.
7. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance duties.
8. Collaborate with property management and other team members to ensure efficient operation of the property.
9. Provide excellent customer service to residents by addressing concerns and inquiries professionally and promptly.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Proven experience in general maintenance, preferably in a multifamily residential setting.
3. Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
4. Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and perform repairs efficiently.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts as needed.
9. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
10. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.34 - $25.70 per hour
