Seek Employee is Hiring a Solar Technician Near Lima, OH

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Solar Panel Technician to join our team. As part of our renewable energy initiatives, this role will focus on the integration of information technology (IT) solutions into solar panel systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, networking, and software, coupled with a passion for sustainable energy technologies.

Responsibilities

  • IT Integration: Configure and integrate IT solutions with solar panel systems to optimize performance, monitoring and data collection.
  • Network Management: Manage communication networks between solar panels, inverters, monitoring systems, and central data servers.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze solar panels to optimize performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Software Management: Install, update and manage software applications used for monitoring data and remote system management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teams of software developers, technicians and others.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to IT systems and solar panel performance.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields preferred.

2. Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, networking and software applications.

3. Familiarity with solar energy systems, including photovoltaic technology and inverters.

4. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to optimize system performance.

5. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C preferred.

6. Experience with data acquisition systems, SCADA, or IT platforms is a plus.

7. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39,000.00 per year
