Position – Welder

Job Location – Oconomowoc, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd Shift (3:30pm – 2:00am)

Starting Pay – $28 /Hr Depends on Experience

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED - GMAW Certification

Required Experience – At least 1 year of experience

This position is responsible to perform MIG welding and fabrication duties without the use of a fixture; layout, fit and position weldments sequentially to create a custom stair lift. This position is also responsible to work from prints, drawings and job layouts; use ruler, square and other measuring tools; grind to make a smooth cosmetic finish.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret work instructions, prints, drawings, and job layouts

- Strong basic mathematical skills and the ability to use measuring tools (ruler, square, etc.)

- Team interaction and good communication skills

- Ability to operate hand/air tools and electric grinders

- Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and additional weight with assistance occasionally

- Ability to regularly kneel, bend and reach

Qualifications

- Open Table welding experience

- High school or general education degree (GED)

- 1 year welding experience or equivalent education

- GMAW certification
