SEEK Careers/Staffing is Hiring a Machine Operator Near River, WI
Position – Machine Operator (Tube Laser)
Job Location – Fall River, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 3rd Shift (10:00pm – 6:00am)
Starting Pay – $18-$20/hr Depends on Experience
Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus
Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
RequiredRequired Experience – At least 1 years of experience
Brand new tube laser/bender in our Fall River, WI facility. If you enjoy learning new equipment, can take on the challenge of working on a brand new piece of equipment this might be the job for you. This operator must be able to think quickly, make decisions, and have outstanding troubleshooting skills.
R esponsibilities
- Perform setups and operations
- Check material thickness for accuracy and load material
- Check parts according to blueprints
- Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations.
- Identify and solve machine alignment and cut condition problems
- Troubleshoot minor program errors independently
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools
- Demonstrated competency in basic shop math
- Demonstrated blueprint reading capability
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments
- Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiently
- Demonstrated detail orientation, self motivation skills and ability to multi-task
- A High School diploma or GED Equivalent
