Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious beverages in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks

- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences

- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including brewing equipment, countertops, and seating areas

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns

Skills:

- Minimum two years of barista experience

- Strong retail math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions

- Proficiency in using POS (Point of Sale) systems to process orders

- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of basic math for measuring ingredients and calculating recipe proportions

- Experience with Toast POS system is a plus

- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere

- Strong sales skills to upsell products and promote special offers
