Current we have an opening for a full-time (32 to 40 hours) 3rd shift youth care worker.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include providing direct care for the boys, ages seven through sixteen, in our group homes. Daily activities would include guidance in the daily routine of a household, transportation to and from school and appointments via company vehicles as needed, monitoring routines and activities and supervising chores and play time. This position is an opportunity to teach independent living skills and offer guidance to youth in need of positive role-models.
Qualifications:
* Every other weekend on 12 hour shifts is required.
* Current Medical Examination
* FBI/BCI Background Checks
* Driver’s License
* Car Insurance
* High School Diploma or GED (or Ten Years’ Experience Working with Children)
* Positive Energy
* Thick-Skinned (to youths' comments/personal verbal statements)
Hours 10p-6am weekdays and every other weekend on a 12-hour shift, (6p to 6a) or (6a- 6pm). Seeds 4 Life is a non-profit 501(c)3 and CARF Accredited organization offering competitive pay, a supportive training/learning environment and opportunities for professional and personal growth.
