Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Field Coordinator. As a Field Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and coordinating various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our field operations.

  • Participates in inventories, inspects equipment, conducts Limited Technical Inspections and SL-3 inventories for damage and completeness.
  • Prepares vehicles for delivery to the using unit or facility.
  • Tracks and updates documentation related to the turnover of equipment from vendors to the Government customer and validates Technical Manuals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good oral and written communication skills and analytical capabilities.
  • Travel expected up to 50% of the time.

Experience:

  • A Bachelors Degree with (6) years of related progressive professional work experience in Life-Cycle Logistics planning and management with a minimum of four (4) years of experience in at least two directly related technological areas, including experience in all phases of logistics acquisition and logistics planning.
  • Position requires an active Secret security clearance.
  • Valid driver's license required; certification to operate an ACV highly desired. Operator's license for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and motorized forklifts with up to 10,000 pounds lift capacity highly desired. Familiarity with the Common Remotely Operated Weapons System (CROWS) and it's installation a plus.

The work environment is typical of a normal open space motor pool and warehouse environment on a military installation. The noise level in the work environment may be high when operating power equipment. The employee may be required to work in restricted spaces and/or under difficult lighting and access conditions, and may be exposed to outside weather conditions when inspecting materials. The employee will be required to employ appropriate safety and personnel protective equipment to prevent injury to self or others. When not conducting fielding events, the work environment is typical of an office setting.
