Job Summary for Purchasing Clerk : Provide financial, material and clerical support to the business.
Responsibilities for Purchasing Clerk:

• Properly maintain purchasing documents and records
• Compile requests for materials and prepare purchase orders
• Track deliveries of incoming materials and handle inquiries about orders
• Work closely with vendors and customers regarding supply statuses, changes and cancellations
• Compare prices, specifications and delivery dates for bidding orders
• Perform general office duties as assigned including assisting HR and ERP activities

Requirements for Purchasing Clerk:

• Some purchasing or related experience
• High school diploma required, additional education preferred
• Experience with Microsoft applications including Excel
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Aptitude for numbers
