Sedona Staffing is Hiring a Bookkeeper Near Davenport, IA
Location: Iowa
Compensation: $20-$25/hr depending on experience
We, Sedona Staffing Moline as the employer, are recruiting for a temporary Bookkeeper position for an immediate need with a local Quad City Business.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic accounting procedures (A/R, A/P, G/L)
- Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.
- Fact-checking accounting data.
- Assist in the collections process including communication with customers to address any past due invoices and provide updates to management.
- Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in all administrative and financial activities.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related field preferred
- 3 years of bookkeeping or related experience
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
- Strong computer aptitude, including expertise with Microsoft Excel.
- ERP/Accounting systems knowledge preferred.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
