Sedona Staffing is Hiring an Accounting Clerk Near Maquoketa, IA
Shift: 1st shift (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Mon - Thurs (7:00 AM - 11 AM) Friday
Job Location: Maquoketa, Iowa
Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 starting, but experience may adjust this number up quickly
*** Entire facility temperature controlled ***
Job Summary for Accounting/Customer Service Clerk : Provide accounting and clerical support to the business.
Responsibilities for Accounting/Customer Service Clerk:
- Properly maintain accounting documents and records
- Reconcile accounts on a timely bases
- Review and process daily accounting transactions
- Review and prepare accounting postings and reports
- Assist with A/R and A/P and invoice payments
- Perform general office duties as assigned including assisting HR and ERP activities
- Assist with customer service orders/phone calls as needed
- 2-3 years accounting or bookkeeping experience
- High school diploma required, additional education preferred
- Familiar with accounting systems and procedures
- Experience with Microsoft applications including Excel
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers
- Experience with financial reports and statements
- Global Shop ERP a plus, but not required
