Northrop GrummanSpace Systemsis seeking a Sr. Principal Contract Administrator to join its team of qualified and diverse individuals supporting the Space Security Contracts team. This is a unique opportunity to build experience, mentoring relationships, and career growth by contributing to the Contracts role. This position is in El Segundo, CA. Hybrid or remote work is not available for this opportunity. The Senior Principal Contract Administrator will produce high quality Contract Management related products supporting the NGSP Tactical Space Systems Division (TSSD) Integrated Missions (IM) programs. This position requires an understanding of DOD contracting, excellent communication skills, strong technology acumen in M365, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is a team player; but also, a strong independent contributor with strong leadership skills, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. The Senior Principal Contract Administrator will be required to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines and handle multiple tasks. The Contract Administrator must possess the ability to work well with others in high-stress high-volume situations, effectively interface with internal functional and program organizations, and meet the goals/objectives of the IM operating unit. Roles and responsibilities of the Senior Principal Contract Administrator will include the following:
* Support the development of metrics, reports, and responses to data calls.
* Assist with digital transformation for the Contracts' team.
* Maintain and update contract documents and official program records, including contractual documents and correspondence.
* Research contract issues and prepare analysis with citations.

* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with 10 years of Contracts, Subcontracts, or Procurement Administration, or directly related experience, or Master's Degree with 8 years of relevant Contracts, Subcontracts, or Procurement Administration, or directly related experience . An additional four years' experience accepted in lieu of a degree. * Strong technical acumen in M365
* An in-depth knowledge of FAR, DFAR and experience with different contract types
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to make recommendations and effectively bring projects to completion
* Active Top-Secret / SCI clearance

* NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM and/or CCCM)Salary Range: $109,900 - $164,900 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
