$19 - $22.05/hr. Based on Experience
Work Hours: 2:30PM - 11PM
CNA -Assisted Living - PRN
Our Assisted Living at Radford Green (5 Star Award Winning Community) at Sedgebrook Senior Living, is 37 suites on one floor. This smaller scale, home like environment allows for resident centered care under generous staffing ratios. The community is tucked away in a beautiful scenic landscape with award winning grounds keeping, that truly is a state-of-the art community on the North Shore. The team is well tenured, and prides itself for zero agency usage. When you are providing meaningful care on a daily basis.
- Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
- Gives treatments, performs tests, carries out procedures and collects specimens as instructed.
- Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures and specimens when indicated.
- Transfers, transports and escorts residents as need.
- Answers signal lights promptly.
- Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly.
- Assures Resident safety at all times.
- Attendance is essential to this job. Must also maintain dependability and punctuality as outlined in Attendance policy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Successful completion of an Illinois State approved nursing assistant training program. Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred . Registration with Illinois State registry required.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given.
