Description
This position is responsible for a broad range of member services such as opening and closing accounts, opening, and closing as well as renewing IRA’s and CD accounts and assisting members with questions or problems as it relates to their membership or accounts. This position is responsible for processing member transactions ex. deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payment etc., while maintaining a teller drawer, vault, ATM, and cash recycler on a daily basis. Responsibilities will also include assisting the branch to increase sales, the expansion of existing member relationships and the development of new business while maintaining our high level of service philosophies. Outstanding members and / or interdepartmental service must be delivered to meet or exceed service satisfaction standards. These responsibilities are done within all Credit Union policies and procedures as well as all applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
Experience
Must have one year of in branch financial sales experience providing direct customer/member service. Must also have strong proven sales and service skills in a financial institution. Experience working on relatively complex financial products; have excellent knowledge of features and benefits of financial products; possess knowledge of NCUA or banking regulations and compliance factors and possess strong knowledge of branch operational functions and lending practices.
