Security USA, Inc, is a growing security company in the U.S. Our security personnel works days and nights in residential properties, commercial locations, non-profit organizations, government agencies and upscale retail in NJ and NY. Security USA employs the best candidates in the field that make the difference for our clients. We currently have immediate F02 openings in New York City.

Responsibilities

This Position is Temp - Perm based on a 90 employee work evaluation 

Starting Pay - Base Pay ( $16.70 ) Supplemental Pay ( $7.05 )

This position requires a 2 step screening process:

After the initial pre-employement screening a second interview will be conducted with the account manager, which will be followed by the onboarding process.

As a leading security officer in a Shelter, Residential building or School your role will be to ensure the safety and satisfaction of the community by performing a range of essential tasks.

These include but are not limited to :

• Warmly greeting both incoming and outgoing tenants,
• Diligently monitoring the building and its surroundings through CCTV
• Ensuring that all guests and vendors adhere to the proper access control guidelines.
• Your duties will also involve securing the premises and offering security assistance whenever required
• Additionally, you will be responsible for providing incident reports and other necessary documentation to both building management and Security USA. 
• Ensuring proper access control guidelines are followed by guests and vendors
• Lastly, you will be expected to conduct regular patrols of the community shared areas within the building

Qualifications

• Valid NY State Security Guard License
• 1 year of relevant shelter experience is preferred but not required 
• Valid NY Fire certificate; F02 
• At least 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior Military or Law Enforcement experience is a bonus 
• Positive and Customer-oriented attitude.
• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency will also be required.
• Authorized to work in the US
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to write reports
• Be physically capable of climbing stairs and patrolling
• Great customer service attitude
• Must be able to handle simple computer and smartphone operations
