Security Services Northwest is Hiring a Security Officer Near Snoqualmie, WA

MUST HAVE SECURITY EXPERIENCE - Position for Snoqualmie, WA *$30/hour*

Security Services Northwest, Inc. (SSNW) is your full-service security company. Founded in 1977, we offer professional and complete security services for residential, commercial, and industrial customers in Washington, Oregon, California, and Alaska.

From providing armed and unarmed security officers and patrol services to installing burglar alarms and camera systems, we provide our customers with the highest level of service.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents.
  • Conduct regular patrols.
  • Monitor activities.
  • Surveillance.
  • Access control.
  • Safety escorts.
  • Using provided communication devices.
  • Represent SSNW’s brand.
  • Properly wear the issued uniform.
  • Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR).
  • Complete Incident Reports.
  • Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services.
  • Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees, and visitors following the department's procedures.
  • Other duties as described in the Post Orders.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Access to a smartphone with access to the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting.
  • Reliable transportation, and Valid Washington State Driver's License (must own your own car.)
  • Honesty and integrity.
  • Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to obtain a Washington State Unarmed Security Guard License.
  • Ability to react appropriately in high-stress situations.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior public safety, military, and/or security guard experience a must.
  • Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) card (or plans on obtaining one).
  • Knowledge of security protocols and equipment.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols.
  • Able to stand 8-12 hours a day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
