Description :

Seeking a customer service-oriented Security Guard in the Lafayette, LA, area.

Floating Security Officer will be based out of the Lafayette facility and serve as a back up officer for surrounding areas (Abbeville, Crowley, St.

Martinville, New Iberia, Opelousas) when other officers are out.

• 40 Hours a week
• Will work most week days
• Expect to work every Saturday
• 8-10 hour shifts starting as early as 6 : 30am and ending as late as late as 10 : 00pm

Must live in Lafayette, have a flexible schedule and the ability to drive to the other facilities at a moment’s notice.

Primary Duties :

Engage with staff and visitors welcoming them into the facility.

Must always present yourself in a professional manner.

Monitor the facility (inside and out) to make sure all doors are secure.

Monitor the parking lot.

Report any unusual activity and document accordingly using a smart phone or tablet.

Must be able to document accurate information in a professional manner with specific details).

Training available for new officers.
