Description : Maintenance TechnicianMUST BE HVAC certified or (5) years experience to be consideredTemp to HireMonday - Friday8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm$20.
00 - $22.00 / hr DOE Position Overview Responsibilities and Duties :
- Perform electrical, plumbing and carpentry work, painting, drywall repair, install bathroom and kitchen faucets and fixtures
- Some carpet and linoleum repairs
- Perform custodial and grounds work
- Keep accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, work orders, inspections and inventories
- Positive interaction with residents
- Perform light maintenance on appliances
- Assist with unit inspections to ensure compliance with LIHTC and HUD Standards
- Insure all Safety Trainings and onboarding trains are complete and current
Qualifications and Skills :
- Ability to successfully complete a series of complex projects and time and within budget
- Plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall repair, unit turns and appliances repair
- Skills in customer service and reasoning
- Must be effective in time management for self and others
- Must be self-motivated and willing to take initiative
- Ability to read, interpret documents and do basic math
- Computer, working knowledge for time clocks, online ordering
- Ability to work as a team with Regional Managers, Property Managers, Project Managers and coworkers and maintenance teams
Dress appropriately ready to work in and outside, jeans / work pants (no holes or rips, pulled up & belted), Plain t-shirt (no sleeveless shirts, no graphics), jacket (cold or rain), gloves, closed toed shoes / boots.
Bring own tools but make sure they are well marked before arrival. Requirements : HSD or GED Must have clear Drug Screen & BackgroundFive (5) years HVAC Certification preferred or combination of training and experience a MUST
