We accomplish this through innovation, constant process improvement, and an uncompromising commitment to hiring, retaining, and rewarding the best talent available.About the role:The Security Specialists, under the direct supervision of the Shift Supervisor, ensures SIS standards and policies are met in overall field services, operations and functions in assigned area such as: site inspections, emergency response, camera review, client liaison, and special projects as assigned. All duties must be performed in accordance to client policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.Essential Job Functions• Greet all employees and visitors in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner• Provide excellent customer service to the client, its associates, and facility personnel• Generate and issue badges for all visitors to the site• Ensure all personnel entering the site have proper ID and authorization• Provide escort services to the client’s visitors, contractors, and vendors as required• Patrolling all sections of the property to identify safety hazards, unusual activity, and breaks in security• Maintain daily administrative documentation • Creating and documenting incident reports as needed• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions• Primary first responder to all medical emergencies for guest and employee injuries and illnesses.• Providing assistance to civil and law enforcement authorities when needed to do soAdditional Job Functions• Perform other related duties as required.Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience• EMS experience preferred but not required• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)• Previous experience in customer service or in an admin/receptionist position is highly desirable• Experience in a corporate business environment• Positive attitude and outgoing personality are essential• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Must obtain Guard Card if selectedWhat we can offer:• $24.00/hr• Health, Dental, and Vision benefits, plus access to dependent coverage and a variety of other benefits for Full-Time employees• Eligibility to contribute to a 401k Plan after the first year of employment for Full-Time employees• Paid Time Off (PTO)/Paid Sick and Safe Time.• A dynamic and challenging work environmentAdditional Information:Security Agency #729Private Investigative Agency #1760Security Industry Specialists, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity EmployerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature of this job.
