POSITION SUMMARY:
Security America Officers are responsible for conducting foot patrols both inside and outside, monitoring pedestrian and vehicular access to the property or facility, monitoring necessary camera and alarm systems, providing typed or hand-written reports of incidents and activities, and are expected to perform any other duties assigned or outlined in the post orders. Security Officers are also expected to conduct themselves in a courteous and professional manner at all times and should be able to maintain composure in stressful situations. Duties often involve interacting with the public both in person and over the telephone, as well as responding to emergency situations involving the safety and security of the assigned property or facility.
