The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.

Responsibilities:

Patrol and monitor the data center premises to detect and deter unauthorized access or suspicious activities.

Conduct regular inspections of security equipment and systems to ensure functionality and compliance.

Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, following established protocols and procedures.

Maintain detailed logs and reports of security incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.

Collaborate with fellow security team members and management to implement and enhance security measures and protocols.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security is a plus

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred for higher-level positions.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Pay Range:

Entry-level Security Officers: Starting at $18 per hour.

Experienced Security Officers: Compensation based on experience, ranging from $19.25 to $21.75 per hour.

Shift Supervisors: Compensation starting at $23 per hour, with potential for growth based on performance.
