Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Hospital Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees within the facility and on the property. Assists the medical staff to control patient and visitor behavior, and protects the hospital's assets. Oversees patients considered at risk, performs safety intake of close supervision watch. Emergency Dispatch, Searches patients and their property for injurious items, Monitors, observes, documents for medical records and ED &/or Crisis Intervention or Nurse/Clinician. Applies restraints, monitors, and documents combative patients’ safety while in restraints. Performs range-of-motion checks on restrained patients. Assesses the security of hospital property through designated rounds and investigates lost, stolen, or damaged property.
