Hospital Security Officer
Location: Cynthiana, KY
40 HPW
$20.00/hr
Education/background requirements:
- Associates/Bachelor’s degree preferred
- CPR/First Aid Certification required
- One year minimum Security experience or medical experience or combination of both preferred
Hospital Background minimum requirements:
- Must have current proof of MMR or Titers (Documentation of #1 and #2 MMR vaccine after age 1 or immune titer results of Rubeola, Mumps and Rubella
- Proof of 3 Hepatitis B vaccinations and/or documentation of an immune titer if worker is at risk for occupational blood or body fluid exposure
- TDAP
- Chicken Pox (Varicella) Documentation of #1 and #2 Varicella vaccine or of immune titer results.
- Proof of current Influenza vaccine for current season
- TB Test results (TST or IGRA)
- Pass preemployment verifications including but not limited to: Abuse Registry, Kentucky Caregiver Misconduct Registry Check, OIG Exclusions Check, Education Verification, License/Certification Check, Sex offender Registry Check, and Criminal Background Check.
Standard position minimum requirements
- No history of misdemeanors or felonies
- Drug-free history, including no use of any THC
- Strong Problem-Solving skills with a customer service “can do” mentality.
- Willingness to train, lead and continue developing own skills while understanding you are part of a larger team of medical professionals.
- Special attention to details required.
- Must be capable to rebound quickly from negative situations, while remaining empathetic and open-minded/flexible to an adaptable environment.
