Control Room Operator

Wage: $21.25/hour

Job Responsibilities:

Camera and Alarm Monitoring:

• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems for the site location.
• Identify and assess potential security threats or disturbances.

Dispatch Operations:

• Dispatch security officers promptly to investigate alarms or respond to disturbances.
• Coordinate effectively with on-site personnel to address security concerns.

Patrol Log Maintenance:

• Maintain accurate and detailed patrol logs, documenting observations, responses, and any incidents.
• Provide comprehensive reports to the security supervisor as required.

Gate Access Management:

• Respond to and resolve gate access issues promptly, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises.
• Coordinate with access control specialists for gate access improvements and updates.

Qualifications:

Security/Supervision Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in security or supervision roles or equivalent work experience. 

Composure Under Pressure:

• Exhibit resilience and composure in high-stress situations.
• Adhere to established protocols and make informed decisions during emergencies.

Computer Skills:

• Proficient in using monitoring and dispatch software, as well as other relevant computer applications.

Customer Service Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide effective customer service.
• Ability to handle inquiries and diffuse potentially tense situations.

Problem-Solving:

• Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills to address issues related to alarms, disturbances, and access control.
