The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for one of our key clients by providing centrally managed video monitoring with event logging and recording, X-Ray/Metal detection access control, foot patrol, vehicle escorts, incident reporting and analysis.

Basic duties:

· Guarding the property, premises, customers, clients, and colleagues of our client.

· Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV – carrying out routine checks if required.

· Carry out patrols across the site, escorting visitors across the site when needed.

· Remain 100% alert and vigilant to detect and deter any suspicious or threatening behaviour

-Site is a Manufacturing/Industrial Facility, Some areas may have excessive heat and/or noise.

Minimum requirements:

· Excellent customer service, people skills, organizational skills, and time management

· Ability to stay alert and conduct regular patrols on foot

Preferred requirements:

· Experience in a similar role

· Prior law enforcement or uniformed service

· Current State Guard Card License
