Securitas is hiring entry level and experienced seasoned Officers throughout the Reno area.

Multiple Positions available to choose from.

Full time/Part Time, Patrol & On-Site Officer Positions.

We are seeking officers for high profile sites consisting of Manufacturing, Retail, Commercial Buildings and Data Centers.

Our On-Site positions are scattered throughout Reno and include all hours (day/night weekends & holidays)

Hourly pay is determined on account assignment, location and officer experience.

· Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.

· Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.

· Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.

· Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process

· Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.

· Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.

· Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.

· Prepares logs and reports as required.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of the premises and personnel
- Conduct regular patrols to monitor for any suspicious activity
- Monitor surveillance cameras and respond to any alarms or incidents
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises
- Respond to emergencies and provide assistance as needed
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any security-related incidents
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary

Skills:
- Loss prevention: Ability to identify and prevent theft or loss of company property
- Surveillance: Proficient in monitoring and analyzing surveillance footage to identify potential security threats
- Conflict management: Skilled in de-escalating conflicts and resolving disputes in a professional manner
- First aid: Knowledge of basic first aid procedures to provide immediate medical assistance if needed

Note: Prior experience in a militarized or law enforcement role is preferred but not required.
