Securian Financial is Hiring a Business Operations Sr. Rep. Near Champlin, MN

Overview:
Responsible for planning and execution of the organization's business operations on a regular basis. Defines, develops, improves, and ensures alignment with operational best practices, process, and policies to support strategy and goals. Increases the effectiveness and efficiency of support services through Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement. Clients in this job family can be internal/external clients, channel partners and vendors.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
  • Process/reconcile monthly credit insurance premiums and debt protection fees for an assigned block of clients/Financial Institutions.
  • Resolve reporting issues at a client and customer level.
  • Validate/reconcile rate administration fees issues.
  • Work with clients/Financial Institutions to ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly reporting.
  • Prepare, produce, and reconcile monthly billing statements.
  • Research/resolve out of balance and eligibility issues.
  • Answer calls from clients and customers.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to utilize basic skills to perform routine tasks
  • Works utilizing clearly defined processes and procedures
  • Ability to manage time well
  • Self-starter
  • Detail-oriented

If you're in a commutable distance (90 minutes) you'll join us 2-3 days each week in our offices to collaborate and build relationships. Our policy allows flexibility for the reality of business and personal schedules. When working in our offices at least two days per week isn't feasible (vacations, illness, travel, etc.), an eight day per month standard is an option.
Physical Job Requirements:
  • Ability to utilize the keyboard, computer and/or mouse for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week
  • Ability to utilize the phone and/or virtual meeting platform for 2-4 hours per day
