Position Summary:

Under the general direction of the Account Manager, this is a uniformed, Shift Supervisor function charged with performing the duties of an unarmed security guard, while providing oversight of shift operations on a major county-level security program, This individual shall be responsible for overall shift activities and shall serve as the central point of contact in the absence of the Account. This individual shall have had at least 1 year of administrative and/or supervisory experience in security or law enforcement administration and operations in the armed forces/ military security police or civilian security operations. The nature and extent of this experience shall be such that the individual is familiar with and capable of effectively supervising shift operations on relatively similar security program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess GA Unarmed Security Guard Training (24 hrs)
• Must possess a minimum of one (1) full year of experience as a Shift Supervisor / Lead Officer performing in a similar role
• Must be able to perform all duties outlined in post orders for Unarmed Security Guard
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess reliable transportation to commute to job site
• Ability to keep records and prepare accurate and timely reports both manually and through automated methods. Reports include, but are not limited to daily activity logs, shift reports, incident/accident reports, etc.
• Must be able to generate disciplinary actions for employee violations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (writing sample may be required)
• Ability to function as Lead Supervisor with corporate support, but minimal supervision
