Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Permit Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance management in the context of contracting.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the flow of the permit operations for residential & commercial fence installations

· Work directly with sales staff, supervisors, building departments, inspectors and customers

· Collect customer information and fill out permit forms on county or city websites

· Seek and provide any additional paperwork required to satisfy the permit requirements

· Handle all calls with building departments and customers in a professional, courteous and friendly manner

· Maintains all customer permit and inspection records using a job log to maintain detailed history of the work performed

· Maintain activity in all facets of customer interaction concerning closing out all permits, as well as other various reporting responsibilities as needed.

· Excellent verbal, written communication skills.

· Able to use a computer and other general office equipment

· Handle phone calls for customer questions or requests

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Calendar, QuickBooks, WEAVE & Smartsheet

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
