Position: Tech Writer/System Administrator
Description: Secure Enterprise Engineering is hiring a jack-of-all-trades Tech Writer with a strong System Administration/Engineer background. The tasks to be performed shall include the following:

Perform analysis of program policies, missions, and practices, and provide feedback regarding the effects on operations;
Analyze operational practices and make recommendation regarding appropriate changes;
Create documentation in support of operations based on input from a variety of sources;
Maintain and update other related documentation;
Use standard tools such as Adobe, MS Visio, MS Project, MS Excel, Confluence, Jira;
Perform technical editing related to grammar and formatting;
Use word processing software and web collaborations platforms such as MS Word/Confluence to edit and deliver style guides, cross-references, and linked documents.

Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Required Skills/EducationOn top of strong writing skills, technical writers shall have the following background in order to produce comprehensible end products:

Familiarity with computer network operations and development;

Understanding of operating systems, networking components, and architecture of the following:

MacOS
Linux (both Redhat and Debian-based distributions)
Windows
Solaris

Understanding of network infrastructure and virtualization devices such as:

Cisco
Juniper
Huawei
VMWare cloud virtualization – all variants (ESXi/vSphere/Horizon)
Linux KVM based cloud virtualization
