Part-Time Weekend 3rd Shift Nursing Home Security Officer

Position Summary:
Under the direction of a supervisor, the Security Guard performs general security work to protect persons and property and to prevent losses due to accidents and incidents. Security Guards service institutional, industrial, or commercial property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol buildings and grounds of the site during assigned shifts.
• Watch for and report irregularities such as fire hazards, unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Write incident reports detailing any security-related issues or incidents.
• Record data such as property damage and any actions taken during shifts.
• Prohibit unauthorized persons from entering the premises.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and enforce site regulations as necessary.

• Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Possession of a 20-hour certificate.
• Possession of a PERC (Permanent Employee Registration Card).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Physically fit to stand/walk for 8 hours.
