The Specialty Member Advisor, external Floater, is responsible for assisting members with both financial and nonfinancial transactions. As a trusted advisor, Specialty Member Advisors conduct consultative conversations with SECUs perspective field of membership and identify SECU products and services to develop mutually beneficial relationships. The Specialty Member Advisor is the subject matter expert for all Business products and lead role model for all major duties expected of member advisor roles. This individual will identify, evaluate, and refer consumer and business members to partners that assist the Bank at work and University teams in achieving desired performance. Specialty Member Advisors ensure that they promote SECUs multiple delivery channels by actively managing the members experience; inside and outside of the SECU. Specialty Member Advisors have a thorough knowledge of all SECUs products and services and are accountable for their behaviors and results while upholding SECUs Code of Conduct.
The SMA must be flexible with working out of any SECU Financial Center throughout Maryland. Employees would also be expected to work at other various offsite locations (in addition to remote and FCs) for BAW and other University events. Evenings and weekends would be required, but flex time is available to offset evening and weekend hours.
