Job Description:

As an Installation Technician at Sector Technology Group, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both our operations and sales teams. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who is a self-starter and possesses a passion for the law enforcement industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Upfitting:
  • Gain proficiency in all aspects of vehicle upfitting, including console installation, storage solutions, partitioning, bumpers, running boards, tonneau covers, and more.
  • Become adept in installing squad technology such as lights, sirens, wiring systems, circuitry, antennas, and various other technological components.
  • Obtain certification as a Mobile Electronics Certified Professional.
  • Undergo self-training courses to become proficient in installing SoundOff Siren/Lights and Whelen Siren/Lights.
  • Technology Installation Projects:
  • Engage in technology installation projects as required, often conducted on-site at customer locations.
  • Develop expertise in building a vehicle's technology "tray" to ensure optimal functionality and organization.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in vehicle upfitting, automotive electronics, or related fields is preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and schedules.
  • Passion for the law enforcement industry and a commitment to driving innovation in public safety technology.
