**Position Overview:**

This position oversees the planning, development and implementation of all warehouse procedures and activities required to meet corporate goals. Manages the receiving, storing, packing, and shipping of merchandise or materials. Maintains inventory records and schedules. Extremely knowledgeable with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a Manager or Department Head.

**Essential Functions:**

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

* Daily control of inventory movement including up to date recording and investigating discrepancies.

* Maintain correct storage of inventory. Keeping it in locked areas as space will allow and in numeric order. Maintain and label overstock.

* Physically pull inventory as needed and set controls to prevent losses.

* Insure that dumpsters and trash are emptied in a timely fashion and keep warehouse and yard clean, orderly, mowed and weeded unless hourly help is provided for these duties.

* Supervise hourly or light duty employees.

* Monitor and report inventory used for shop, test supplies, scrap and construction expense weekly.

* Monitor and report to corporate non-stock inventory items in your warehouse.

* Maintain needed inventory and tooling & supply levels, prepare weekly order and send to corporate. Work with corporate on return inventory items.

* Maintain log for vendor backorders for production supervisors.

* Physically receive inventory into the warehouse, verify item numbers and quantity and scan the signed and dated packing slips to corporate.

* Track down packing slips for direct ship inventory and items not received into the warehouse.

* Deliver inventory to job sites in emergency situations.

* Schedule and perform cycle counts for warehouse and crews. Prepare and assist with yearend count.

* Perform minor and facility repairs.

* Maintain and order fire suits (Nomex).

* Keep a current list of crew foremen and supervisors for your location. Inform corporate pf all changes (new foremen & supervisors or closures).

**Qualifications:**

* High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors Degree a plus

* 3-5 years of successful experience as a Warehouse Supervisor

* Knowledge and experience in implementing warehouse policies and procedures

* Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs

* Ability to use critical thinking skills to analyze situations and drive decisions

* Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style

* Excels at operating in a fast pace environment

* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

* Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
