Landscape Crew Leader

Join our team at Second Nature at Reads Creek, where our passion is creating high quality outdoor spaces and landscape design, installation, and maintenance for residential and commercial clients. You will work closely with a small, dedicated landscape team to create beautiful, imaginative, functional outdoor spaces.   • Lead and supervise a team responsible for landscape installation and maintenance
  • Coordinate and guide daily tasks, ensuring job efficiency and adherence to timelines
  • Train, mentor, and work alongside crew members
  • Physical outdoor labor maintaining or installing trees, shrubs, perennials, mulch
  • Prioritize tasks assigned and improve jobsite workflow
  • Employ strong work ethic, sense of urgency while working, pride for the job and company standards
  • Demonstrate reliability and responsibility
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
  • Communicate with clients
  • Assist with the installation of ponds, water features and other jobs as necessary
  • Maintain and restore existing landscapes
  • Demonstrate organization and positive interpersonal skills
  • Use professional attitude towards fellow employees, supervisor, and clients
  • Load and unload materials and supplies
  • Rake, sweep, dig, shovel, prune, water
  • Clear debris and cleanup of work site
  • Use hand tools (wheelbarrow, shovel, rake, broom, etc.)
  • Operate equipment such as a skid steer and truck and trailer

· Ability to operate range of equipment such as truck and trailer, skid steer, compactor, trencher, masonry saw, heavy machinery, etc.

· CDL license or willingness to obtain

· Pesticide Applicator’s License or willingness to obtain
