Job Title: Maintenance Technician/DRIVER

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team
and support the maintenance and upkeep of our fleet. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and cleanliness of our vehicles used for
non-emergency medical transportation and transportation to and from our day center. The
role will involve performing regular maintenance tasks, ensuring accurate record-
keeping, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our transportation operations.
The drivers at our adult day center plays a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of
our clients to and from our facility. In addition to driving, the driver is responsible for
providing a high level of customer service and care to our clients, many of whom are
elderly or have disabilities. This included Non-Emergency Medical
Appointments(NEMT)
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles, including but not limited to
liquid and fluid checks, tire inspections, and general system checks.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including dates of service, parts
used, and any issues identified.
- Coordinate with the operations team to schedule maintenance activities without
disrupting transportation services.
- Identify and report any vehicle safety or performance concerns, and collaborate with the
management team to address them promptly.
- Keep the maintenance area and tools clean, organized, and in compliance with safety
regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or a similar role, preferably in a
transportation or fleet management environment.
- Proficiency in conducting routine vehicle maintenance and a strong understanding of
vehicle systems and components.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain detailed and accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and priorities.
- Certification in automotive maintenance or a related field is a plus.

Driver
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safely transport clients to and from the adult day center in a timely manner.
2. Assist clients with boarding and exiting the vehicle, as needed.
3. Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.
4. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
5. Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and visitors.
6. Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and families to ensure a smooth
transportation process.
7. Maintain accurate records of transportation schedules and client information.
8. Assist with other duties as needed, including helping with activities at the adult day
center.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) regulations and best
practices.
