YOUR DAY AS A VET TECHNICIAN

As a Vet Technician, your day starts at 8 AM and runs until 5 PM on weekdays, with Saturday hours from 8 AM to 12 PM. Your responsibilities include warmly welcoming patients and owners, efficiently triaging pets, and recording patient history. Core duties involve expertly recording vital signs, handling diagnostic samples, assisting during surgeries, and closely monitoring post-surgery patients. You'll also administer medications, provide clear dosage instructions, and maintain meticulous records. QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience as a veterinary technician or in a similar role
• Knowledge of animal care and handling
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask and maintain organization in a busy environment
• Patience and a genuine love for animals

Being a CVT, RVT, LVT, or experienced veterinary technician is preferred. However, training can be provided for the right candidate.
