Seaway Plastics Engineering is Hiring a Tooling Administrator Near Port Richey, FL

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepares all related documentation for new tooling project work orders
Prepares all related documentation for EC (Engineering Change) \ NRE (Non-Recurring Engineering) \TX (Texture) work orders
Update and maintain all open projects on tooling board.
Update all current open projects in IQMS
Close all completed projects in IQMS and file documentation.
Enter and close all received MRO work orders in IQMS.
Manage the MRO system with weekly reports and closing old or obsolete work orders.
Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price for project and tooling related components.
Aggressively negotiate and manage optimum pricing and volume for assigned commodities
Promote continuous improvement in cost reduction, quality and on time delivery
Maintain proper inventory levels of components used on a regular basis
Work with receiving to ensure that purchased item deliveries satisfy the purchase order
Maintain SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) procedures while looking for areas for improvements.
Support company safety regulations and policies through continuous improvement

Limited physical effort, able to carry at least 25lbs
Duties are usually performed seated. Must be able to sit and type for long periods; bending, reaching, pushing, pulling.
Prior manufacturing and or production experience a plus
