General Summary: Working with the Director Advancement Services, the Systems Support Manager reviews, analyzes and evaluates business systems and user needs for alumni and donor data. This support includes report writing, imports, exports and ensuring database and data integrity. The Systems Support Manager stewards the accessibility, integrity and confidentiality of institutional data.
Report Writing: Builds and maintains positive, constructive partnering relationships with business units and has a deep understanding of their work environment, strategic goals and data systems. Provide business units with clear understanding of what data exists in the database. Produce accurate routine and complex data files for communication purposes.
Importing and Exporting Data: Executes scheduled imports of constituent records. Stays current with industry best practices, software technologies and development tools; assists management in planning future direction, streamlining existing operations and ensuring data that enters or leaves the database has integrity and accuracy.
Ensuring Database Integrity: Conducts routine data audits. Identifies, prepares and completes data cleanup projects. Collaborates with technical and business unit staff to ensure data is stewarded appropriately and communicate any technology changes to campus stakeholders. Works closely with the Director of Advancement Services to maintain appropriate policies and procedures. Maintains institutional data integrity and security. Clear understanding of governmental data regulations and security standards. Administrates and maintains institutional enterprise software systems, coordinating upgrades and testing as needed. Train new users on appropriate use of systems and data.
Manage Student Workers: Hire and train 1-2 student employees each year on data entry and cleanup projects. Supervise their work and design procedures for special data entry projects.

Rate of pay: $27.40 - $29.80 DOE
