POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are looking for rock stars that have a "can do" attitude and take pride in the detail of each car they touch. You will travel to customers, answer questions, climb in, out, up down, bend, kneel, crawl, all within the cars that are in your charge. You will assure inside and exterior cleanliness of vehicles, get along with your co-workers, and learn additional skills while in this position. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Wash the exterior of vehicles using various cleaning solutions
• Wax and buff vehicles using cloths and buffing machines
• Polish wheels
• Vacuum to remove dirt and debris
• Clean upholstery and surfaces
• Use air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals to surfaces for protection against spots and stains
• May use different kinds of dyes, paints and waxes to protect the leather or fabric of vehicles
• May involve cleaning and removing grease on engines or engine compartments
• Organize work records and files as needed
• Keep service drive clear
• Maintain customer parking
• Seat cover, floor mat and alignment check on every incoming vehicle
• Park incoming vehicles in lot
• Pull scheduled waiting vehicles into shop (wash first if there is no space available in shop)
• Wash finished vehicles for technicians
• Vacuum finished vehicles
• Shuttle customers as needed
• Maintain clean trash receptacles
• plus other task as requested

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Strong communication and interaction skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Unlimited physical dexterity
• Ability to understand formulas in order to mix cleaning solutions, paints and other chemicals
• The ability to operate cleaning equipment is essential; must know how to efficiently operate hand tools or power tools and follow the safety policies
• A minimum of one year detailer experience preferred; will train the right candidates
• Valid driver's license

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Regularly required to stand and walk. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb. Ability to lift, carry, pull and push up to 50 pounds. Twist and turn in confined spaces. Manual dexterity, repetitive motion tasks. Frequent exposure to toxic chemicals. Moderate noise level. Respirators and other protective equipment may be required, and will be provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
