Full Job Description

Our dump truck driver is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of dump trucks, and trailers for various applications including the hauling and dumping of aggregates and exports from excavation, earth moving, site preparation, and utility projects. Truck drivers are also responsible for loading, securing, and moving equipment between job sites.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Safely and efficiently drive and operate Dump truck and trailer.
• Deliver products to jobsite.
• Spread and stockpile per order.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues.
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, often in tight residential locations.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A license required.
• 5 years proven truck driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Timely and dependable, this is mandatory, punctuality is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35-45 per hour DOE, qualifications, and skills.
