If you are always looking for more efficient and innovative ways of working, are thoughtful, intentional, and collaborative, we would love to talk to you!The Branch Representative is an experienced sales, service, and compliance individual responsible for the successful consultation and transactions to enhance our member experience. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service and growing membership with a commitment to serving communities with low-income. Provides effective and efficient service to membership in all operations while following the Credit Union policies, procedures, and guidelines.WHAT YOU WILL DO:Processes most member transactions.Supports, promotes and cross-sells Credit Union products and services.Open new accounts and establish member relationships, as the first point of contactServes as member consultant and provides information and applicable forms concerning products and services.Interviews members to analyze and determine members’ needs.Balances at end of each business day.Maintains required records.Answers incoming phone lines and, if necessary, directs calls to the appropriate personnel.Maintains product sales in accordance with branch goals.Converts qualified referrals to new business in accordance with supervisor goals. Maintains a Quality Loop satisfaction rating in accordance with credit union goals by providing high quality service based on our service standards.Demonstrate effective sales and services interactions using the Member Interaction Model.Maintains knowledge of SCU’s Bank Secrecy Act policy, procedures, and practices to meet compliance requirements.Other duties may be assigned.Mission/Core ValuesLeads others as a reflection of organizational values to drive behavior and results.Builds community relationships to reinforce organizational goals and mission.Demonstrates a growth mindset and expects the same from teammates.Committed to exceptional care and service, specifically with underserved communities.Demonstrates a propensity toward curiosity, and inclusion; engages others with dissimilar backgrounds.Engages with members and teammates with care, appreciation, and respect. WHAT YOU WILL BRING:Basic Qualifications: Education or job knowledge equivalent to high school education.Minimum of 6 months of financial institution experience (Banks / Credit Unions)Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal regulations such as Reg. B, Reg. E, Reg. D, Reg. CC, Reg Z, and the Bank Secrecy Act.Comprehensive knowledge of credit union history and its philosophy preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum six months of retail/customer service.Minimum six months of previous experience working with sales goals, referral goals, appointment or member attainment goals or up selling products.Accurate 10-key skills.Accurate keyboarding/typing skills.Good communication skills.Strong people and customer service skills. Working Conditions:This is an onsite role with work performed in an office and/or branch environment in the Greater Seattle area of Washington State.Team members may attend special off-hour meetings and seminars.Employees are assigned to one location, however, may occasionally fill in at other locations.Saturday hours may be required.The nature of work may include prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and may also include standing for prolonged periods.This role may have direct exposure to robbery.Benefits:Seattle Credit Union supports and invests in our employees.
