Position Summary

Salary range for this position is: $20.37/hr. - $26.46/hr. (depending on experience)

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

Under the supervision of the Dean of AHSS, the Screen Printing Technician is responsible for assisting and accommodating students using the facilities in Graphic Design. They will have a thorough knowledge of production processes and equipment needed to maintain equipment, monitor materials and supplies for classwork projects, as well as estimate quantity and quality of supplies and materials needed and make purchase recommendations. The Screen Printing Technician will remain current on technology and trends as they apply to the programs, as well as provide a supportive working relationship with students, faculty, and other college programs and monitor the facility to maintain a safe, healthy, and barrier-free learning environment.

This position is part time – 20 hours a week.

What you bring as a candidate: (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience)

  • Six months to two years of full time experience or training in screen printing or equivalent education/experience.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office an Adobe Software.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Seeks actively to develop new skills.
  • Works collaboratively as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

The Position

  • Typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to Perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office.
  • Encounters frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
  • Is regularly required to provide 1:1 support, present to small groups, and work at a computer exercising repetitive hand motion with or without reasonable accommodation.
