Position Summary
Seattle Bank's boutique banking business focuses on building trusted relationships with clients with interwoven personal and business financial needs. A core strategic pillar of the bank's business, we are uniquely positioned to offer treasury management expertise, personalized experience, and individualized solutions to our commercial and private banking clients.
As a Deposit and Treasury Management Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of new and existing deposit relationships. You will be responsible for profiling client needs, recommending deposit and treasury solutions, managing a portfolio of deposit-centered clients, and collaborating to support the needs of credit-centered clients. You will serve as a liaison between your clients and internal client support teams. You will be a sought-out strategic partner for our leadership, business development, and product teams, and trusted advisor for your existing and prospective clients.
NOTE: This posting is for a future opportunity, not a current job opening. The title may be Deposit & Treasury Executive or Deposit & Treasury Officer depending on experience. The salary range for each level is included below.
Essential Duties

• Deposit & Treasury Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of personal and business deposit and treasury management products, services, rules, and regulations. Provide subject matter expertise by effectively analyzing and managing complex deposit relationships (e.g., escrows, pledged accounts, deposit account control agreements, IntraFi Network deposits, etc.).
• Deposit Relationship Management: Develop and deepen relationships with new and existing clients. Demonstrate care and commitment by proactively looking for ways to add value, responding in a timely, professional manner, and following up to ensure objectives are achieved and issues resolved. Serve as the Relationship Manager to high touch commercial clients, specialty businesses and partnerships (e.g., family offices, property managers, law firms, real estate offices, etc.)
• Treasury Solutions Management: Effectively interview clients to uncover needs, analyze personal and business financial data, articulate cash collection, management, and disbursement flows, and recommend customized solutions. Stay abreast of and advocate for emerging treasury management products and services that clients need.
• Business Development: Actively build and nurture a client referral pipeline to grow the business. Regularly conduct in-person calls with prospective and existing clients. Help structure proposals, communicate value proposition, and negotiate pricing.
• Collaboration: Partner with EVP, Partner Banking, to develop, structure, on-board, and help manage national deposit relationships (brands, fintechs, and marketplaces). Collaborate with Commercial Relationship Managers to support deposit and treasury needs of credit-centered clients and provide a seamless experience to treasury management clientele.

Requirements

• 8 years Deposit and Treasury Management experience
• Degree in business or equivalent experience
• Experience leading and/or mentoring others either directly or indirectly
• Deep working knowledge of account titling, business entity types, and FDIC insurance
• Experience reviewing legal documents, writing procedures, and managing projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
• Exceptionally customer focused and customer-centric
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow through skills
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Salary Description

$90-130k for Officer and $130-160k for Executive
