Manufacturing Systems Associate

2nd shift hours: 2:30 pm-1:00 am (4-10 hour shifts) Monday-Thursday 

The Manufacturing Systems Associate is responsible for providing manufacturing and assembly personnel with high-quality audio-visual information to improve access to information as well as speed onboarding for assembly and manufacturing personnel. Manufacturing Systems Associate will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, and MIS to develop documentation and systems that support and promote quick access to manufacturing information.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain MES (Manufacturing Execution System) to provide high-quality instruction sets to manufacturing personnel.
• Configure and maintain equipment integration to the MES.
• Configure and maintain reporting and dashboards within MES.
• Develop and maintain data transactions between MES and Seats Incorporated Oracle database.
• Develop technical assembly drawings and schematics to augment engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Develop Audio-visual material to assist with training and complex assembly instructions.
• Collaborate with various teams in the organization to develop and improve systems for information delivery.
• Translate documents and manufacturing information to alternate languages as necessary.
• Assist engineering with instruction sheets, product use and care manuals, troubleshooting documents, and part manuals.
• Assist Sales with necessary technical documentation.
• Research and implement industry best practices and investigate emerging technologies for applicability.
• Assist with technical documentation creation during product development.
• Provide training to MES users.

Required Skills:

• Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and create technical manuals, engineering drawings, and engineering documentation. Ability to create documents and correspondence to effectively present information, respond to questions, solve problems, and justify needs.
• Ability to work independently and to organize and prioritize tasks to meet required deadlines.
• Proficient in the use of productivity software such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in technical Spanish translation is a plus.
