Job Summary:
Boat Crew members operate and maintain equipment on the deck of a vessel to assist with docking and other operations. Responsibilities include greeting passengers, collecting tickets, throwing lines, participating in safety training, and ensuring the safety of our passengers. You job as deckhand will also include working within Seastreak’s Ferry Safety Management System. Deckhands are expected to provide exemplary customer service and follow the directions of the Captain and Mate.

Routes may include: Highlands, NJ to NYC; Atlantic Highlands to NYC, Belford to NYC, Highlands, NJ to Martha's Vineyard; Highlands, NJ to Nantucket; Whale Watching Cruises; Fall Foliage Cruises; Other Special Event Cruises
Career Advancement: Multiple paths to advance within seastreak to positons with more responsibility and higher compensation. Training for these positions can be completed while working as a deckhand by completing the necessary sign-off packet. These jobs include:
